A continuation of the Analysis series reaches out to the Master of the Bass (upright, strapped, Chapman Stick, etc) - Tony Levin. This "Part 4" is actually the first installment in what will be an extended series of interview segments with Tony..and his fellow King Crimson Ax-genius & vocalist - Adrian Belew (now touring with their respective trios: Stick Men & Adrian Belew Power Trio). This is first to be posted, in honor of Peter Gabriel's superb streaming 1-hr cyber-concert, Live from the Ed Sullivan Theatre (Letterman, NYC) - now available on CBS.com.
Tony discusses both his collaboration with Dream Theatre's Mike Portnoy & John Petrucci, Dixie Dregs' Jordan Rudass...and his take on Gabriel's New Blood Orchestral re-imaginings of tunes on which he originally played.
More installments coming after the holidays...enjoy!
