Hello LileighWhite Lilith (Leigh),
Your website and videos are wonderful.
So much great Genesis background info and analysis.
I've been enjoying your Lamb analysis videos. I still have more of them to watch.
However, at this moment, I'm listening to Supper's Ready from Seconds Out on my computer.
Not Peter, but I really think Phil did a great job on this album. The band is tight and I think the sound quality is good.
Still, I'd rather be listening to The Lamb and Seconds Out on vinyl. I will later this evening.
Anyway, Thanks for cool the videos and info.
Cheers,
Dan

Hello, dearest Dan (The Man from Seattle - my ancestral home)!
I am really glad that you are digging all the videos and information on this little oasis of a Genesis-website of mine.
I've obviously been away from it for a bit - to follow Hackett's GR2 Tour, as it visited the States - and to get some family responsibilities out of the way...but, am so happy to be back.
Speaking of Hackett - my collaborators Tom and Jeff Lord-Alge...along with our buddy Mike Piera ..had a RIPPING time filming and interviewing Steve, on stage, following his soundcheck in Ridgefield, CT, in September.
I was able to shoot my HD camera right down the NECK of his guitar - as he was playing many licks...it was mind-blowing !
I will be reaching to get that footage (and more) edited down as soon as I can - in and around the approaching holidays, I promise.
As for Seconds Out, I really think it is as good as it gets - for that particular era of post-Gabriel Genesis!
You're so right on about the "tightness" of the band...and the soaring nature of Phil's voice, now in the lead position.
I admit I am partial to Nick Davis' 5.1 Re-Mix of "Seconds Out" - available within the "Genesis-Live" Box Set Collection.
He and Tony did a real bang-up job on getting that cleaned up, re-built and re-mastered on the full surround-sound digital matrix.
But, if you love to bounce back and forth to the warmer vinyl, from the cooler digital formats - why not?!?
That is why it is NEVER wise to sell that great turntable we still all own! ;-D
All my love...and good vibes,
Lil
