From Greg:
Loving listening and watching all your great videos this week as I prepare to see "The Musical Box" in Milwaukee in two nights. Have seen them on two other tours and am so looking forward to seeing them do "the Lamb"..
What did you think of the LA and Phoenix shows?
And the tour continues next year in Europe...
Thanks for the great site.

LiLeigh:
Hi, Greg~ Thanks so much for checking out by new website...I do so appreciate it! ;-)
So sorry for the late reply (I was & am still busy, busy editing down all the great interview and on-stage tour, I was treated to in Phoenix, of the vintage instruments video for The Musical Box LLDOB tour).
I hope that your show in Milwaukee went off without a hitch?
I must say, that after editing all these Analysis videos on the Lamb - but never having been able to actually SEE, it in person..finally experiencing it - was extraordinarily pleasing. *genuine smile*
I was MOST taken by the original slide show - originally curated/collated/supervised by Jeffery Shaw & Theo Botschuyver (along with Peter Gabriel)...as I (not owning the 70-75 Box set) - had never seen it in it's entirety, before.
My resident Genesis historian - Paul Davis - tells me that these two men were/are leading digital/multimedia/staging artists, in their right. Botscheyver created the "Floyd Pig".Of course, I'd seen some of the limited subject matter in the historic stills I was given to use in my videos - from Cascais, Portugal...but, to see the alternating mayhem of socio-economic, pop-culture visuals...the continuity of them (profound to humorous to chill-worthy) married to the genius of the music and staging was truly impressive.
The Supernatural Anesthetist (and his Ghetto, Pogo-stick riding persona cracked me up!)
Unfortunately, there were some technical problems both in L.A. and in Phoenix (not big, mind you - but, enough to provide a bump in the road of a live performance, to an uber-attentive crowd: Slide machine failure *historically-very accurate, actually!*, power hits and a slight disconnect in timing between the new players were noted, in a sympathetic manner, by all of us).
But, no matter...the purposely-anonymous musicians of TMB received a well-deserved standing ovation, at both performances - which was nice to be a part of, so appreciative we all were of their heroic efforts to stage this extremely complex and difficult concept album!
With that being said...when they (and I) make it to the Keswick Theatre, in Philly...then to play Tribeca in NYC - I am hoping that all technical anomalies will be shaken out and all will be smooth presentation to round off my following of the Tour, before it heads to Canada, to end off 2011...then off to Europe in 2012.
All my best wishes to you for a good "Lamb-filled" holiday season, Greg !
xoxo Lil
