Bless ya, kind Erik ...for sending me this particular link to the 1982 Genesis Reunion rehearsal, with Peter and the boys.
I know people who were there for the actual concert, that terribly rainy and difficult day....yet, as true early-Genesis fans,to have seen/heard that, in person - must have seen like a miraculous set of moments.
How rare...and wondrous despite the technical problems (born of a very short rehearsal period).
I read of how Hackett did his best to get there...and was able to step in, for just a little bit, in the final songs.
At least we are able to enjoy the aural remnants of that unique day - thanks to the internet...and the kind, fellow fans who post them ( knowing there are others out here who appreciate it as much as we...)
It serves as both an inspiration and comfort.
My extended family has had a tough go of it, in this past year...
But, I will be doing my best to get back to the thing I love doing the most...editing my videos. And, reading the encouraging comments everyone sends in, like yours, helps to get me back in the saddle of that White Horse I ride. ;-)
